Guilds
Guilds
Your guild selection is the closest thing to a "class" in the game, with guilds aligning to certain play-styles and offering the most benefits to players looking to engage with the game that way. For instance, the hunting guild focuses on hunting down dangerous wild beasts. There are many parts to this, and as a guild member you can choose where to specialize - it could be actual combat with beasts, or even a specific category of prey. Or you could focus on tracking down your target, perhaps focusing on a particular region of the world.
Changing Guilds
Note that while you can change guilds, doing so will revert all guild levels to novice 10, or their current level (whatever is lower). You will lose any bonuses, including learned recipes, from lost guild levels. Players can therefore advance to novice 10 in all guilds theoretically, but beyond that you will need to pick one member guild to continue with.
Guild Benefits
Additionally, as a guild member, you gain access to extra:
- Guild-specific skills and training
- Specialized equipment and recipes
- Guild facilities and services
- Reputation bonuses with your guild
